In everyday life, we often use the terms lamp and luminaire synonymously and mean "something that shines". However, experts use the terms separately. The term lamp is defined in the DIN 5039 standard. This describes a lamp as “a technical version of an artificial light source that is primarily intended to generate light, i.e. to shine or illuminate.”

Accordingly, the term lamp designates a component that is required for the functioning of the light - e.g. B. the illuminant that is in the lamp.

At wesmartify you get smart LED lamps (bulbs) compatible with Alexa. They can be easily integrated into the WLAN network and are infinitely dimmable.
