GU10
The term GU10 stands for a specific type of lamp socket - this is the area of the lamp where the bulb is attached. In the case of GU10 fittings, bulbs with two pins are required (pins are small silver pins protruding from the bulb). These pins are 10mm apart - hence the name GU10.
