sustainability

We speak of sustainability when the resources used are recovered or replaced in the same way. Concrete example: In forests, only as many trees may be felled as can grow back within a defined period of time - then the forest is managed sustainably.

In everyday language, however, we use the term sustainability more freely and generally refer to environmental protection and resource conservation: A light bulb is sustainable if it uses as little electricity as possible. Garden irrigation is sustainable if as little water as possible is required, etc.

In our online shop you will find a wide variety of smart home products that will help you to live more sustainably (e.g. by saving electricity, water or heating energy). A practical side effect: The smart components bring more convenience to your everyday life through the automated control of consumers.
