The essentials radiator thermostat Energieautark BT can be retrofitted to any conventional radiator that has heating valves with an M30x1.5 thread. Adapters for Danfoss (RA, RAV, RAVL), Herz (M28x1.5) and Giacomini are available separately. Installation is possible without draining the heating water or interfering with the heating system.

Long-lasting energy storage

The cordless and battery-free device works energetically self-sufficient thanks to the energy harvesting principle. The internal energy storage is able to bridge several months without heating (e.g. in summer). If the memory is completely empty, the device can be charged via its microUSB port.

Integrated display

The radiator thermostat is commissioned conveniently using the plus/minus buttons on the device and the integrated display. In addition, the display shows, among other things, the target room temperature, the energy status of the thermostat, an active Bluetooth connection and an activated temperature reduction when the window is open.

Control and programming via smartphone

The target temperature and the time profiles already preconfigured in the thermostat can not only be set directly on the device. Thanks to the Bluetooth connection, control via the free essentials app, which is available for iOS and Android operating systems, is also possible. The time-controlled room temperature control only heats up at times when the occupants are present. Up to four heating intervals per day and the creation of individual weekly plans are available. There is also a boost function for extra fast heating and a party mode for overriding the stored heating programs in exceptional cases.

Compatible with Tuya's Smart Life App

Users of the widely used Smart Life app from Tuya do not need to download the essentials app as well. The essentials radiator thermostat Energieautark BT can also be controlled via the Smart Life app.
