Amazon Alexa

Alexa is the Language assistance software from Amazon, which is installed in various smart end devices, e.g. B. in the smart home speaker Echo Dot.

Alexa understands human speech and responds to voice commands. To communicate with Alexa, you simply have to formulate questions, e.g. For example: "Alexa, what time is it?" or "Alexa, turn on the light". "Alexa" serves as a signal word - the voice assistant software knows that a command is about to be executed.

You can control most essentials products via Amazon Alexa.

Fun fact: The name Alexa is based on the famous library in Alexandria (Egypt) and is intended to indicate the great knowledge of the language assistant.
