We take responsibility with the development of our smart home technology. Together we work on ideas, services and products that make life easier for wesmartify customers. Purchasing is the basis at wesmartify for everything else. We deliver tens of thousands of products to customers - nationally and internationally. This presents wesmartify with the challenge of top sourcing with high quality. For that we need you!

As a team player, you are able to integrate into an existing, young and dynamic team. At the same time, you are ready to roll up your sleeves and lend a hand when the need arises. You work mainly in Bad Salzdetfurth and partly also in Salzgitter Salder. These are our two locations.

What are you going to do:

• Negotiation of purchasing conditions and associated contracts, which you negotiate with the support of the management
• Advising our specialist departments on all questions relating to the procurement process
• Supplier and product sourcing in cooperation with the management
• You ensure that products are sourced on time and of the right quality, mainly from Asia, mostly from China, including customs clearance
• You ensure the standardization and optimization of the purchasing processes
• You are responsible for supplier management
• You are part of the process of monitoring the quality of products in coordination with product management and quality assurance
• You keep an eye on your processes using reporting tools and derive measures and projects in close cooperation with sales and project management
• You monitor the delivery dates and deadlines
• You maintain master data in the ERP system and make relevant evaluations
• You carry out price and market analyzes for the product groups and products and share this information with various specialist departments
• You communicate mostly in English or in the local language (Mandarin)

What we expect:

• You have completed commercial vocational training, ideally with further training as a specialist for purchasing IHK
• You have at least 2-3 years of professional experience in purchasing
• You have good knowledge of contract drafting/contract law
• You are good at using the MS Office package
• You have very good written and spoken German and English skills and also have language skills in Mandarin (preferably a native speaker)
• You have good knowledge of a common merchandise management system (e.g. Navision, SAP)
• You enjoy negotiating and have strong negotiating skills
• You find it easy to organize and you have a talent for organization
• A reliable way of working is important to you and you like to work independently
• Ideally, you have some experience with export and customs regulations
• You appreciate the challenge of a fast-moving and operational work environment
• You have a good understanding of your key figures and a high level of problem-solving skills
• You are open to change and constantly looking for potential for improvement
